Shingles or bricks (cocciopesto) are a great resource in building, I’ve been experimenting for a while with a mixture of lime, sand and ground recycled shingles to make various objects, from fountain forms to biopool finishing.
The proportions for this type of ‘cement’ is 1 part lime, 1 part cocciopesto and 1/2 part sand and stone polished with black soap to render it water proof.
